Privacy notice

This notice explains what happens to the details and photos you send through the quote form on this site.

Who we are

A F Building Solutions is Andy Foster, a self-employed bricklayer in Whitworth, Lancashire. He decides how your details are used. You can reach him at andrew88foster@hotmail.com or on 07807 947412.

What we collect

Your name, phone number, email address if you give it, postcode, the type of job, your message and any photos you add. Nothing else: this site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.

Why and how we use it

Only to reply to your enquiry, arrange a visit, give you a price and do the work if you go ahead. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. Your details are never sold or used for marketing.

How the form is sent

The form is delivered by email through FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), an email forwarding service. Your details pass through their service and arrive in the email inbox that handles enquiries for this site.

How long we keep it

If you don’t go ahead, your enquiry is deleted within 12 months. If you do, the details needed for the job and the price are kept for as long as they are needed and as the law requires for a small business.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the details held about you, or object to how they are used, by emailing Andy. If you are unhappy with how your data has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
